Manuel "Veco" Avila, age 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020. "Veco" was born July 31, 1940.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria E. Avila; children, Jesse (Olga), Raymond (Veronica); grandchildren, Raymond P. Jr, Alexander X., Robert M., Hailey I., Charles E., Jonathan A., Evelyn A.; siblings, Cecelia Perez (Sheila), Mary Theresa Espinosa (Terry), Paula Carmen Avila (Polly) and lifetime partner Velma Gonzales.
