Tia, When I found out you were in your last days of life, I knew in my heart, mind, and soul, that I had to be there to see you and my cousins during this difficult time. Even though I was not there when you passed away, I was happy to have been able to be by your side.
It had been about two years since my last visit to town, and at that time, I was able to have my husband Don, and daughter Emily, enjoy your love, thoughts, and stories.
Emily will never forget your stories! Your name, Tia Marcella, will always bring a smile to her face! She will always remember your under the mattress story.
You have always remembered us and had pictures of us and would be so proud to show us your display of family photos during our visits. You will be greatly missed!

Marcella you were on special lady you were a great neighbor I enjoyed those conversations we had and it was a blessing seeing your kids grow up in the neighborhood you were on strong lady and you kept those kids on point you were a great grandma and you will always be remembered by many I know your picture will be on tables of those who loved you very much may you Rest In Peace and when god comes for us we can see you again I will always be here for your kids and grandkids god bless your family always you taught them well and they will keep your legacy going

My greatest memories of My Queen are of us singing and dancing. 🎤💃🎤💃. Our favorite song was (Querida) from Juan Gabriel. I remember singing it when I was a little girl.  It seemed as your motherly 👩‍👧👩‍👧intuitions was always on point! You knew when I was going through certain things and you would call me, and the moment  I said *yes mam, you sang (Querida) out loud making me laugh 🤣🤣and than ask me what was wrong.  I would pour my heart out to her. She always knew how to guide me even if I didn't agree with her. Although she was ALWAYS RIGHT!  I'm sad that you are no longer her we us but happy that your with my son  Angel.  Give him a big hug and kiss from me and tell him that I love and miss him. 
I will forever miss your guidance,  spunky attitude,  knowledge  and most importantly your love ❤❤❤.

You have always been a force to be reckoned with from day one.  Your strength for your kids was constant...you never gave up no matter the situation.  My childhood was spent staying with Gracie at your house...we would go to the park daily. We always knew once the street lights came on we better be home because you didn't play games ha ha ha!I loved the weekends because I knew you would push my mom and grandma to go with you to the White Elephant. I knew eventually I would get a small toy out of the trip. You always tried to do things, even the smallest things to show people you cared & to make them feel loved & never forgotten.  I know you did that for my sister growing up & till your last days you continued to do it for my brother. The one thing you always told me was family is important.  You said you have all this family & you may not even know them yet. You always gave words of encouragement and you never tried to judge even when everyone else did. I wanted to be selfish & have you stay here with all of us...but I knew you were ready to rest. I'll love you always & never forget what a bright light you shined as my loud, funny, crazy tia! I can still hear you singing in my head Jermiah was a bullfrog 🎵🎶

Marcella- I can't help but smile on the inside when I think about the legacy you have left behind.  You taught a lot to your children and  your grandchildren how to overcome obstacles in life and come out shining.  I think about all the generations that have been and will be blessed by the life  you have lived. Your passing will leave a huge void in your family. I know that you were the sun and everyone rallied around you always.  I know the only consolation your family has is that you have joined our Savior and have been reunited with all of your loved ones that have gone before you. I know you are looking down at your family and will take care of each and everyone of them.  Although i didn't see you very often it was a pleasure meeting you.  Rest Easy. The last time I saw you in person, I believe it was 22 years ago. Even though I did not grow up around you, my memories of you are very clear...it was like "yesterday!" I remembered you as the "crazy" Tia! You were always loud, always dancing & always having fun. Another thing I remember you by was when you would whoop Gracie & Teresa's butt, I would hide from you so you wouldn't whoop me for laughing* 
I'm so happy I got to see you one last time, Tia! Even though it was not in person, I'm so happy it happened. It hurt so bad because I had this clear memory of what you had looked like from 22 years ago in my head, but a few days ago, you were confined to a bed and very sick...beyond recognition. It really broke my heart to see you like that* Whether I grew up close to you or not, it's irrelevant because in the end, you are still a part of my family. My heart also breaks for everyone else because I see how much they are devastated because they lost you.
You told me that you made your peace with God, so it made things easier to accept....one day, Tia, we will see each other again and we will never be apart again :) We will ALL be together and celebrate an everlasting life in harmony...me, you, grandma & grandpa...and EVERYONE else!!
