She attended school at Baytown High School, Houston School of Floral Design and Houston Community College for Culinary Arts. Margaret was a loving and beautiful mother and a business woman. Her activities included were walking, exercising, window shopping, traveling and spending time at the casino. She also enjoyed decorating cakes and making flower arrangements.Margaret was blessed with a large and beautiful family that she enjoyed spending time with.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Joseph and Maria, Juanita, Evalinda, Ingrid, Yolanda and Jose, Mike and Julie, Albert and Sylvia. She had 29 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her spouse Julius Berczik Jr, mother Catherina Diaz and her son Xavier Ulloa,
and siblings Louisa, Eva and George and great grandchild Bernadette Andrea.
The Family would like to thank the staff of Harbor Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our beloved mother on her final days.
A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary service will be recited at 6:30 PM to 7:30. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St, Houston, TX 77037. A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Ulloa, Jason Ulloa, Rudy Jr Mendoza, Alex Rey, Mario Dominguez, Mathew Silva, Javier Sammy Ulloa, Andres Hernandez II and Kenneth J Godeke.
