Margaret Elizabeth Kroll Brossman, 89, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. Margaret grew up in Richards, Texas and graduated from Richards High School. After graduation, she moved to Houston to live with her Aunt and Uncle to find a job. She met Ed Brossman and fell in love and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. She was a long time member of Assumption Catholic Church, Harvest Years Group, Ladies Axillary 2917, Catholic Daughters of America Court 1750, and SPJST Lodge 88. Her favorite past times was doting on her family, cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving and lemon cake for birthdays. She also enjoyed fishing when she would get a chance. Her greatest pleasure was visit from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Brossman, daughter, Gloria Brossman and brother, Floyd S. Kroll. She is survived by her sons; Charles Brossman and his wife Barbara and Robert Brossman and his wife Valla and daughter, Patricia Wendt and her husband Douglas, Sister in-law, Shirley Alvina Kroll, pallbearers; Chris Ashorn, Rob Sziy, Brian Wendt, Chris Moody, Josh Pullen and Kenneth Brossman, honorary pallbearers; Steven Kroll and Craig Brossman, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 5pm – 8pm at the Heights Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7pm that evening. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday 10am at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Rose Ln, Houston, Texas 77037. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
