Peggy received her Bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and her Masters from Columbia University Teachers College in New York. She dedicated her life to a career in education and loved being a teacher. In addition, she enjoyed travel and new experiences and had the opportunity to live in Germany, Japan and Australia. So, in addition to teaching in New York and Houston, she also taught in Yokohama Japan and Perth Australia, retiring in 1989 from Houston ISD.
She is preceded in death by Fred, her husband of 62 years. She is survived by her daughter Jane, her sister-in-law Mildred Koetzner and nephews John and Bob Koetzner and their families. A graveside service was held at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery in New Jersey.
