Margi Alejandra Piza, age 39, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Sugar Land, Texas.

No formal services are scheduled at this time, but her life will be celebrated in the hearts of family and friends and her memory will live on always.

A poem from the family:

She is Gone

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's has left.

You can turn on your back tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Margi, words can’t express the heaviness we all feel deep inside our hearts, to hear you are no longer with us. I want to thank you for all the little, kind acts of friendship that you did for my sibblings and my family, and all our inner circle of friends. You always made everyone feel welcomed and easily befriend anyone with your charismatic, and easy going sweet and welcoming personality. You say past everyone’s flaws and say the good in everybody. You may no longer be here with us, but so many of us have have so many wonderful heartfelt memories of you, to forever remember and cherish you. To me friendship isn’t about who you’ve known the longest, it’s about who walked into your life, said “I am here for you, and I’ll prove it.”
Margi you bought great heart felt energy to everyone’s soul. You will be truly miss. We all love you and miss you. We will always cherish you, for the beautiful resilient being that you where. You touched our lives, so effortlessly, made so many laughed and smiled. Rest In Peace beautiful Margi till we meet again sweet Margi. Only God knows why He called one of his beautiful earth angels to heaven, but you will be truly miss. We will forever be greatful to have had you in our lives. To many you where like more than a friend you where like family. Rest Easy sweet and beautiful friend you shall be remember always. ✨🙏🏻✨🕊

I first met Margi almost 20 years ago.
I am a friend to her favorite Auntie, Donna Imber.
She was the sweetest young woman and a happy soul every time I saw her.
It’s her giggle snd laugh that I will remember most.
I know she is missed and will be remembered. I pray she is at peace. I also pray for peace and comfort for her dear family.
Love and hugs,

Margi was a loving and caring person that we will forever miss and never forget. This has undoubtedly been one the hardest things that our family has gone through but we are forever grateful to have known her and have had her in on our lives. She was such a great tia to our kids and always thought about them. She cared and loved for them as if they were her own. There are no words to describe what we are feeling right now. There will always be a special place for her in our hearts. We are very fortunate to have had her a part of our family.

There are not enough words to describe the type of person Margi was. A person everyone should aspire to be. She made a huge impact in our lives. She taught us what the true meaning of selflessness is. She did not hesitate to help a family member, a friend, or even a stranger in need. Not to mention her love of all creatures. If she could have filled her home of all sorts of animals she would. She just undoubtedly had a huge kind, loving, and caring heart. We will cherish the time we spent with her, the way she thought about us and our kids.
The last day we saw her she spent the whole afternoon playing with our daughter, because she promised her the day before she would come over and play with her. She kept her promise, and I will forever be grateful for that, and for everything else she selflessly did for us. Most of all I’m grateful for the way she loved and cared for our children. She was the best tia and we will forever miss her and keep her in our hearts.
