Momma, aka Grandma, Memaw, Aunt Margie, loved life and her family. She was the best cook in the world, making homemade chicken and dumplings, fried fish (which she caught) banana pudding, chocolate pies, etc. She was most happy when her family sat at her kitchen table with full stomachs. She also loved gardening; growing tomatoes, onions, cabbage, turnip greens, etc. She had lemon, fig and pecan trees and she shared all her produce with family and neighbors. If she wasn’t gardening she wanted to be fishing. She and daddy taught all us kids to fish. Night or day she was ready to go.
Tears are flowing because We miss her being gone. We look forward to seeing her again. We love you momma.
