Her strong faith, traditional family values and pride for her Polish heritage were things she taught her family to value as well. Family lessons in cooking, canning and gardening were precious gifts that will continue to be carried forward. She shared her love for music, occasionally playing the fiddle, piano and accordion, and encouraged her sons as they inherited this same love, eventually becoming part of a family band, along with her special nephew, Darrell Deschensky and special friend, Dennis Verwold.
Church and prayer were very important in her life, having a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother and St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower. Margie was proud to be one of the first original parishioners of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, as well being a member of the Altar Society.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November, 20, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Earthman Resthaven 13102 North Freeway, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.
