Maria Del Socorro Guajardo, 80 peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born January 14, 1939 in China, Nuevo Leon Mexico to Dario Gonzalez and Maria Leal Gonzalez. Maria is preceded in death by her sister, Maria Irma Cantu.She is survived by her husband of 46 years of marriage, Toribio Guajardo, her daughters, Maria Olvera and Carmen Santamaria and her husband Nemorio; her grandchildren, Sergio Olvera, Jr., Fabian Olvera, Saidee Rodriguez and her husband Adrian and Skylar Santamaria; her siblings, Guadalupe Gonzalez and his wife Virginia, Desiderio Gonzalez, Simon Gonzalez and his wife Celia, Jesus Gonzalez and his wife Marta, Martina Garcia and her husband Osvaldo and Felipe Gonzalez and brother-in-law, Ambrosio Cantu and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 5-9 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
