Maria Rita Jones, 76, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, with her family by her side. She was one of five children born to the late Santos and Isabel Casas. She is survived by her loving husband, James Virgil Jones, daughter, Anna Marie Doody and son-in-law, John Michael Doody. She touched the lives of many people with her beautiful smile and generous spirit. She loved listening to religious programs, studying the bible, being with her family and in her last 2 1/2 years of life, having fun with her beloved caregiver, Mrs. Rita Sally. A visitation will be held at Heights Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2012, immediately followed by services conducted by Rev. Bill Cole. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
