

She was actively involved as a eucharistic minister and lector in various Catholic Churches throughout her life including the Catholic Charismatic Center, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Blessed Sacrament Church and Immaculate Conception Church.
She was a lifelong helper. She offered help and comfort to family, friends and anyone who needed it.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angel Lee, mother, Dolores Castro, father, Bonifacio Balderas, brother Agustin Balderas, brother Ruben Castro, and sister Luz Banda.
She is survived by her sisters Lupe Vilchis (Evert), Amparo Castro and Gloria Stubberud. Her children; Beatriz Lee, Daniel Lee (Alicia Amora), and Laura Tunstall. Grandchildren; Kenneth Lee-Maher, Susan Lopez (Samuel), Solomon Sheikh, Judith Haag, Ateli Tunstall, Aaron Tunstall, Jennifer Lee, Jaqueline Aguilar (Miguel Pineda), Jose Armora, Juan Armora, Yessenia Urosa (Eduardo Rivera). Great-grandchildren; Helena and Koby Maher, Elaine and Vincent Lopez, Yasmin, Eduardo Jr, Jocelyn, and Sophia Rivera; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Doctor’s Choice Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Forest Park Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Houston, Texas 77023 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Visitation with the family will be from 5-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm.
Chapel Service will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 9am Interment to follow at Forest Park Funeral Home.
A Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on April 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
