Maria Marinez, born August 16, 1937 in Taft, Texas to Abelardo and Guadalupe Trevino, and entered into eternal rest on June 19, 2015, in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Abelardo and Guadalupe Trevino, husband Gregorio Marinez, and daughter Glenda Marinez. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Gracie Presas and husband Albert, Gloria Lozoya and husband Ricardo; sons Gaston Marinez, Greg Marinez, Gilbert Marinez, Gabriel Marinez and wife Diamond; daughter-in-laws Geneva and Maricruz; sister Lupe Mena; brothers Vicente Trevino and wife Rita, Eddie Trevino and wife Sylvia; and 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5pm-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 9am-11:30am at the Forest Park Lawndale Chapel of Angels followed by a Funeral Mass at 12pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7250 Harrisburg, Houston, Texas 77011. Graveside service immediately following at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8701 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, Texas 77075.
