Marilyn Evelyn Henderson

On April 22, 1955 a beautiful baby girl was born Marilyn Evelyn "B" Henderson. Marilyn was first born to her parents Anita Henderson & Willie Jarmon. She was baptized at an early age at St. John Baptist Church as a young girl. Marilyn attended Blackshear Elementary and later graduated from Jack Yates Senior High School. During her time at Yates, she performed in the Jack Yates Marching Band. Seekin a degree in Physical Education & Biology, Marilyn would attend & graduate from Prairie View A & M in 1978. During her time at Prairie View, Marilyn played basketball. Her love for this sport would lead her to become Lady's Basketball coach at North Forest Independent School District. After retirement from teaching & coaching, Marilyn would follow another passion into her own landscaping business. Preceding her in death is her loving mother; Anita Henderson & father; Willie Jarmon. She leaves to cherish her memory aunt; Inez Reid, younger sister; Patricia Henderson (Earl), daughter; Sha'Nytra Leche, granddaughter; Mallnie Joubert' nephews; Quincy, Sean, Regdrik and Xavier, nieces; Shanita & Zori, a special friend for life; Patricia Major and a host of relatives & friends.
