Marilyn Lopez, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, was born on September 22, 2012, and passed away on March 13, 2026. Marilyn was adventurous, brave, and cherished, and she will be remembered with deep love and lasting gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a compassionate, kind-hearted presence—gentle, patient, and thoughtful—whose honest spirit and wise heart left a meaningful impression far beyond her years.
Marilyn was always there to make people smile. She carried a humorous light within her and had a generous, selfless way of lifting others up, often without being asked and without expecting anything in return. She cared deeply about doing her best, and she worked hard in school, striving for good grades because she wanted to grow up to be successful in life. Her determination was steady, and her loyalty to the people she loved never wavered.
She loved spending time with her brothers, and she especially enjoyed messing around and playing with them. In her own way, she tried to teach them to be strong, because she understood that life was not always easy. Even at a young age, Marilyn showed a rare strength of character—brave in her outlook, encouraging in her words, and steady in her care for others.
Marilyn was a very outgoing person who loved being around friends and family. She loved to travel and looked forward to moments that brought everyone together. At family gatherings, she might act shy at first, but she would quickly become the first to play with all the kids—making sure everyone could laugh and have fun, even the adults. She was thoughtful and encouraging, always pushing others to do their best and be their best. And in her own confident, joyful way, she loved being “THAT” girl.
Among her personal joys, Marilyn was a devoted Hello Kitty lover, and that sweet favorite reflected the warmth and brightness she brought into everyday life. Her presence was gentle yet full of life—cherished not only for who she was, but for the love she gave so freely.
