On Friday, March 31, 2017, God called another Angel home. Marilyn Faye Murphree was born on October 5, 1948. She grew up in Houston, Tx, with her two brothers. She raised one daughter and three granddaughters. She enjoyed watching them bring her great-grandchildren into the world and was so looking forward to watching them grow as well. She was very proud of them. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded into heaven by her parents Lorena C. and Morris B. James. She is survived by her brothers Morris B. James III and Donald A. James; her daughter Starla C. Spahr; her granddaughters Christina L. Lindsey, Cassandra D. Lindsey, and Brittany Skaggs; and eight great grandchildren.
