Marjorie Mae Hartman, age 78, surrounded by loved ones,was led by angels to heaven, Monday, December 17, 2012. She was born in 1934 in Cuero, TX, to Caesar & Emma Adickes. She met her husband, Maj. Lee R. Hartman, Jr. (USAF Ret.), at a dance. Her and her husband traveled abroad, then settled in Houston where she began a career in floral design. She is survived by her husband of 59 years; 7 children: Barbara & Jerry Thompson; Annette & Peter Chiste; Carol & Floyd Ward; Donna & Kenneth Kimich; Teresa Harris; Patricia & Glenn Robinson; Michael & Paula Hartman; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin & Evelyn Adickes of Conroe; and other family & friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Texas. Burial will be at a later date at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Dr. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Dr., #175, Houston, Texas 77056.
