

Marjorie LaVallee, 94 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2015. She was born on January 15, 1921 in San Francisco, California. Marjorie was a teacher at Tule Lake War Relocation Center, during World War II. She married Dolphus Charles LaVallee on August 11, 1945, they spent their time traveling, square dancing, and loving on their family. Charles and Marjorie lived in Houston, Texas for 54 years. Marjorie was a hard worker, she was strong and resourceful, and she loved others deeply. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Frederick and Elizabeth Mueller, her brother Jerome Mueller, loving husband, Dolphus Charles LaVallee “Chuck”, her daughter, Janet Hayes and great grandson, Jonathan Hayes. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Nancy Stewart and husband Myron of Fort Worth, and her grandchildren Kathryn Boerio and husband Marshall, Laura Valenciano and her husband Javier, Barbara Gradke and her husband Ryan, Sharon Owen and her husband Trine, and Richard Hayes and his wife Kim, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Father’s Children in Fort Worth, Texas www.ourfatherschildren.org. Service will be held at Veterans National Cemetery in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 in the morning.
