

into Gods loving arms on November 18, 2024, at the age of 60.
Mark was the youngest of seven children, thriving in a household full of loving
care and strong faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, August ‘Gus’ and
Frances Sivcoski and two nieces, Kristen Mathews and Valerie Wolff. He is
survived by his siblings, Jude Sivcoski and wife Rose, Sharon Mathews and
husband Bill, Regina Wolff and husband Karl, Susan Sivcoski, Theresa Kello and
husband Kevin, and brother, Dennis Sivcoski, numerous nieces and nephews,
grandnieces and grandnephews. He also leaves behind numerous lifetime friends,
especially his extended family of friends in Alvin and Liverpool, Texas where he
resided for many years.
He loved to hunt and fish when he could, it was a favorite pastime. Mark ran in
several 5K and 10K fun runs and even enjoyed biking 25 and 50 miles in an
annual cycling event in Wichita Falls, TX. Bay and river fishing, squirrel, duck and
deer hunting all reflected his love of the outdoors with family and friends.
Mark graduated from Aldine High School, class of 1982 and began his work
career at First City Bank in downtown Houston for 12 years. He briefly worked in
banking in Corpus Christi before returning to Alvin, TX to find work at
Weatherford International for 15 years. After leaving the oil and gas industry, he
worked for several firms including USA Industries, Citadel, S.D.I., and Rice Tec.
He was currently employed with MDT, Material Difference Technologies, LLC.
A rosary and memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at
St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine-Westfield Rd., Spring TX
77373. The rosary will be prayed at 11am and the memorial Mass will be at 12
noon. Immediately afterwards, there will be refreshments in the reception hall,
adjacent to the church. Everyone is invited to stay and share stories about Mark’s
life.
A private interment with the family in attendance will take place at Resthaven
Dignity Cemetery, at a future date, where he will be in the company of loving
family who have preceded him.
