Martha Spencer Bautsch, 65, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on October 8, 2013. She was born July 23, 1948 in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Bellaire High School and Texas Christian University. She was active in various community organizations such as Zeta Tau Alpha, Junior Forum, NCL, Montgomery County YMCA, and numerous activities involving her three children. Martha is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Roland Spencer. She leaves behind her three children Craig Vance and his wife Diana, Ginny Kerlin and her husband Paul, and Christopher Hill. She also leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren, Taylor Vance and Connor and Kinsey Kerlin. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Sheltering Arms Day Center and Colonial Oaks Memory Care Home for their loving care. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5-8pm at Forest Park Lawndale. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Angels at Forest Park Lawndale. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in her name.
