POT-POT, Martha Taylor, 96 of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Spring, Texas. She was born March 12, 1924 in Lake Charles, LA to William and Martha (Hart) Jones. She enjoyed working in her yard and was very proud of being able to mow her grass up until she was 87. She loved being outdoors tending to her yard and being with her family and loved animals.
Martha is survived by her 2 daughters, Evelyn “Pookie” Rollins and husband, Ralph and Mary Moran and husband, Larry; 4 grandchildren, Luretha Prather and husband, Bill; Tammie Craig, Trey Hendrickson and Walter Carlisle and wife, Jackie; 4 great-grandchildren, Michael Craig, Amanda Dupre and husband, Paul; Ryan Allen and wife, Vickey and Janelle Carlisle; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Magnolia Dupre and Ronan Allen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Jones, husband, Thomas Elmore Taylor, Jr and daughter, Julia Guttery.
Graveside services will be held 11:30am, Friday, November 27, 2020 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
