Emilio Jasso and Manuela Garcia welcomed Mary Jasso into the world on November 1, 1925. During her life, she spent 58 loving years married to her husband Angel “Tito” Aranza.
Mary worked in dispatch for The Houston Museum of Fine Arts. Her desire to help others was seen carried out through her work in the city of Houston. While providing food and nourishment to lower income neighborhoods, she earned the name “Miss Mary, The Bread Lady”, showing her heart was just as big as the communities she served.
Even with having a busy life of servitude, Mary always remained passionate about and dedicated to her family.
She is survived by daughters Mary Helen Williams and Linda Jimenez; son David Aranza; brother Rudolpho Jasso; sister Amparo Jasso; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
