Janell worked for the Harris County Engineer Mr. Richard P. Doss for 30 years. Janell worked for Harris County at a time when projects, such as the Astrodome and LBJ Hospital, were nothing but a dream.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. Briggs, Jr. and is survived by her four children: Larry and his wife Susan Briggs, Suzanne and her husband Sean McPherson, Paul and his wife Annette Briggs and Leanna and her husband Andy Abbott, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
Mother is at peace with our Lord in Heaven and in the loving arms of our father, Joseph H. Briggs, Jr. Mother always said, "Death is not the end, but just a pause."
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Friday, April 8th at noon, followed by the funeral service at 2 PM.
