Mary Frances Bruns

Mary Frances Bruns, 95 passed away 10:59 a.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Born on June 12, 1926 to Jess and Vesta Burch in Denton, Texas where she grew up and attended schools. She was married for 47 years to Raymond Bruns who preceded her in death. She was a stay at home-maker and mother to five children. A member of Saint Charles Catholic Church and always a volunteer in her church and schools where her children attended. She worked at Seton Catholic Jr. High as a Registrar and Secretary from 1989 to 2002.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bruns; her father Jess Burch, mother, Vesta (Milligan) Burch and brothers, R.B. Burch and Norman Burch.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hatter and husband James of Houston, Texas; sons, Michael Bruns of Houston, Texas, Christopher Bruns of Spring, Texas, Timothy Bruns of Houston, Texas and Stephen Bruns of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, John and Kristina Bruns, Brian and Lindsey Hatter, Krisanne and Jeffrey Janik, Brandon Bruns, Matthew and Megan Bruns and 8 great grandchildren, Landon and Tristen Bruns, Camden and Anistyn Janik, Harper Kay, Thomas and Kathryn Hatter and Teddy Bruns; sisters, Billie Brown of Angleton, Texas, Maxine Bell of Denton, Texas; brothers, Wayne Burch of Denton, Texas and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
