Mary M. Helmcamp, born January 16, 1919 to Edmund and Theresa Kosler in Weimar, Texas, passed away February 18, 2011 in Houston. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and her beloved husband of 60 years, Leon P. Helmcamp. She is survived by her son, Leonard J. Helmcamp; nephew, Herbert Helmcamp, Jr., and other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a vigil service and rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 East 10th Street, Houston, Texas 77008. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
