Mary Laverne Lee

As a young adult Mary moved to Shreveport La where she attended Business College and after graduation she met her husband Travis Lee and they moved to Houston and were married April 7, 1951 at All Saints Catholic Church in Houston.

She was previous member of both Assumption and St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Houston. Her hobbies were quilting, cooking and have a vegetable and flower garden every year.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Travis Lee; her parents; Daughter Pamela Lee; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Left to cherish Mary’s beautiful memories are 2 daughters, Janice Lee of Houston and Karen Lee of Austin Tx; 3 sons Darrel Lee of Houston, Darwin Lee of Beaumont, Tx. and Damon Lee of Houston. Also surviving her 5 grandchildren Beth Lee, Becky Lee, Meika Lee, Kelly Lee and Travis Lee.

Honoring Mary as pallbearers are Joe Sepulvado, Greg Saurette, Paxton Saurette, Kenneth Procell, Stanley Procell and Travis Lee

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Caregivers of Avista Living and the staff of Aspire Hospice.

The service for Mary will be on Friday July 11, 2025 at St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church10135 West Road Houston Tx. with Visitation at 10am-1045am and followed by Funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial will be at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery

13102 North Freeway Houston Tx.

A reception will be held in the Reception Room at Earthman Resthaven Funeral home

13102 North Freeway following the burial.
