Mary J. Love

Mrs. Love spent most of her life as a resident of Houston, TX and was a member of the Baptist Temple. She married Sam W. Love Jr. on November 15, 1949.

She is predeceased by her husband Sam W. Love Jr.; her parents Agnes and William “Bill” Terrell; sister Anna Mae Mohrhusen; aunt and uncle Ella and Gene Hardee; uncle Robert Spevak; and grandparents John Spevak and Annie Spevak-Warman.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Sammye and husband Don Henderson; Carolyn and husband James Wolfinger, and son Sam Love III. Grandchildren Don Henderson Jr. and Deann and husband Neal Stark. Great grandchildren Clay and Allye Stark and Keston Henderson; and two nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mary will be held at Heights Funeral Home, located at 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008, on October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am with a chapel service at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055.
