Mary Esther Lopez Martinez

She had seven siblings. Herminia (Henry) Mancha, Mary Jessie (Nat) Cardenas, Geraldine Gonzalez, Rachel Gonzalez, Cecilia (Max) Salas and two brothers, Richard (Roseann) and Roland (Diana) Gonzalez. Mary Esther married Gabriel Lopez in 1977 and together they had three children, Gabriel (Angel) Lopez Elizabeth (Armando) and Gabriella. She had ten grand-children, and one great grandchild. many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mary Esther is survived by her mother Rachel and six siblings, Mary is preceded in death by her husband. Gabriel Lopez, her father Jesus Gonzalez, sister Mary Jessie Cardenas and grandson Damian.

Mary Esther attended Resurrection Catholic School, McReynolds Middle and graduated from St. Pius Catholic High School. She attended North Harris County College for Nursing. She worked at Kindred Hospital in Houston for many years. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be

greatly missed. Mary enjoyed embroidery, coloring, the theater and traveling with her friend Lisa, she almost met her goal of visiting all 50 states.
