Thank you, Father, Lord, Almighty for this beautiful day of deliverance
Thank you, Father, you are a gracious and loving God. You gave us you only begotten Son Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for our sins and our salvation.
Thank you, Father, Heaven and earth are full of your Glory. You do great things that make us Happy (Psalm 126:3).
Mama was such a blessing. We (Rosa and Alonzo Gonzalez) want to sing this Hymn to Mama.

He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He did not live in a castle, yet they called Him Lord, He ruled no nations, yet they called Him King, He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today! 

May Gods unfailing love give you serenity and peace beyond measure and may He wrap His healing arms around you and give you strength.

My Abuela María loved learning, and regularly visited the library, practicing to type on the computer my Tio Nacho gave her until she was no longer able. She was a vibrant and outgoing person that I admired for always being genuine to her self. In addition, I was always amazed at her firm hand grip when you greeted her. Although she became less vocal as the years went on, the firm grip lasted and seemed to say how much she loved and missed you. I am blessed to have lived with her and gotten to know her. She has left a lasting impression on my life. Because of her I will always enjoy mariachi music, classic Spanish baladas, cooking shows, the African Queen, and a love for the library. Part 2 of 2.

When I was in high school, Abuela María moved in after Abuelito Ignacio passed away. I remember her making food I had never had before like menudo and oxtails, as well as a cranberry swirl bread, that was the best. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and would listen to us read her short stories from our Spanish class and would answer any spanish questions we had patiently. I remember she enjoyed listening to her small radio baladas, and we would watch classic movies together like The African Queen and the Treasure of the Sierra Madre.  Part 1 of 2.

Alonzo: I was blessed with two (2) loving mothers. My Maternal mother (Ramona Gonzalez), God bless her soul; cared for me for 19 years from birth to manhood. She taught how to be a loving and caring son. Thank you, Jesus.  
I lived with Mama Mary for 21 years; As her son-in-law and caregiver. She increased my faith and walk in the spirit of Christ (Galatians 5:25). 
1.	(Love:) Our love for her unconditional. Rosa and I gave her all we had ever day and every minutes.  We gave everything without expecting nothing back.
2.	(Joy) We enjoyed feeding her, hold her hands. Rosa did all the bathing and changing; she looked forward to cleaning mama. After 9 months on hospice, Mama never got bed sores or circulation problems or lose weight. And, most importantly, never suffered pain.  Mama Maria lacked nothing good. (Palm 23 verse 1).
3.	(Pease) We were at peace. In her room, the outside world seemed stop.  The bible calls it “The Pease that surpasses all understanding.” The worries of the world were insignificant when we were with her.
4.	(Kindness) Mama was so kind to us.She never ever once complained.  She never complained about the food, the treatment, the cleanings, the daily lifting, and the daily finger pricking.
5.	On the contrary, she was so good to me. I loved her gentle touches: holding hands, caressing my face, running fingers through hair or pulling ears. 
6.	(Patience) Thank you God almighty for the gift of patience.  Mama really showed me how to be patient person. Everything was at a slow pace, with great attention to her needs, all her needs, and all about her. 
7.	(Faithfulness) Palm 23 Verse 3 “Leads me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Rosa and I were faithful to all her physical, emotion, and spiritual needs.  Rosa anointed her on wake up and at bed time. And we prayed with her daily. 
October 24, 2026. She was all there and received salvation in Jesus. Thank you Lord for the gift of 2 mothers who loved me.

Rosa: Mama was ready.
Good morning family and friends. 
My family and I would like to thank you for coming to celebrate my mom’s life.  My mother is a beautiful woman and mother.  My mom was surrounded by family when she took her last breath at home. I want to thank all the angels that took an interest in her by visiting her, offering her water with loving kindness.   God is Good and his mercy endures forever! 
We all know that we cannot chose our parents or children can’t chose their parents.  I was blessed to have such a wonderful woman as my mom. 
On Friday.  A few days before mom’s passing.  My mama had a restless night, she had those many times. We always kept an eye her with our baby camera (yes, we had a baby camera 24X7). So, I went to her thinking she was thirsty.  I gave her water; we did these many times before.  When she had enough water; this time, she spoke in a complete and clear sentence. Before, Mama only repeated words given to her. But this night she started talking.  The most profound thing she said “I want to go to my house”.  I responded, “it is dark outside, let us wait until morning.” She nodded “yes” and I tucked her back into her bed. I had done these many times but never did she speak so clearly with a strong voice.
Three days later, she passed away on a Tuesday.
The day of her passing, I had a dream about her.  Mama appeared young, with dark hair, and thin.  Mama was so beautiful!!!
I believe that her heavenly body looks forever young just like in my dream.  It is written that “to be absent in the body is to present with the lord”.  Jesus told the apostles in John 14, “in my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”.  When my mom said “I want to go to my house”, she was ready to go to her heavenly father. 
As in Palm 23, states “Goodness and Mercy followed mama all the days of her life; and, she now dwells in the house of the Lord forever”.
