She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Otice L. Parker, and son Steven L. Parker and is survived by her brother Roan Scraper and wife, Deborah Scraper, and a host of relatives and friends.
Mary had an extensive career in the banking industry before retiring from Chase Bank. After retirement, Mary enjoyed traveling all over the world and reading.
Mary also served her Church, Memorial Baptist Church, as a dedicated member and librarian for many years before health issues forced her to step down.

A graveside service will be held on November 3, 2025, at Earthman Resthaven, located at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. The service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am and conclude at 11:30 am.
