

Mary was a United States Navy veteran who served her country in World War II. She attended Louisiana State University, was a graduate of the University of Houston and was a longtime member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church.
Mary was an elementary school teacher in the Spring Branch ISD for fourteen years and was a member of the Northwest Harris County Retired Teachers Association.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Redden T. “RT” Parramore; children, Margaret Wallace and husband Doc, Paula Potts and husband David, John Blair Parramore and wife Mary; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; brother, Edward Albro “Ed” Blair and wife Charlene, along with a host of other loving relatives and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1st at Waltrip Funeral Directors1415 Campbell Road in Houston.
On Thursday, August 2nd, after a private graveside service at Houston National Cemetery, family and friends will gather for a memorial service and celebrate Mary’s life at 11:30 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1656 Blalock, also in Houston.
