

MARY PECORE “JUDY” CLIMER, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2011, in a Tomball, Texas hospital. Born in Houston, Texas December 16, 1919, she was a descendant of the Pecores of PECORE STREET in the Heights of Houston and a 1937 graduate of Reagan High School in that area. Judy worked at Houston Light and Power Company for a total of 18 years but her heart was always as a homemaker. She was an exceptional cook, gardener, avid crafter and traveler. In her later years, Judy was a member of the Tomball United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Alexander Pecore Sr. and Versalyn Maurilla Marshall Pecore, husband, Bill Climer, her son, Roy Cecil Sager, and daughter, Marcia Ellen Sager.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Pam Carlson and husband, Harold; grandchildren Cyndi Sager and Curtis Sager and wife Rose; and great grandchildren Alyssa Sager, Michael Sager and Zachary Sager along with nieces, nephews and cousins. A sweeter person you would
never find.
Graveside services and interment will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with Rev. Patty Bergfield officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00am to 11:00am Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with graveside services at 11:00am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tomball United Methodist Church or Odyssey Hospice Care in her memory.
