Mary Alice Montalbano Platt of Katy, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at 89 years old. Mary was living in Katy, Texas when she passed. She was born on September 29th, 1934 in Houston, Texas to Rosalie (Pizzitola) and Tony C. Montalbano.
She spent most of her life in Houston and attended Incarnate Word Academy. Mary worked at Weingarten and Safeway grocery stores as well as Bert Wheeler’s and Spec’s liquor stores.
She attended St. Albert Catholic Church near her home for 30-40 years.
Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Julia Montalbano, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and several great, great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, August 9th 8:30-9:30am at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 9:30 with interment at 10:00am.
Though she will be dearly missed, her family knows she is rejoicing in Heaven!
