So sorry to hear of Mary Catherine’s passing. She was my cousin. I will always remember our Dixon family trips to visit Grandma Dixon and the Knouff family.  Mary Catherine was always upbeat and such a fun cousin to be around. She was pretty close to my age so we would hang out in the back yard  area. God bless and keep her.

Tonight’s visitation and rosary for Mary was so beautiful! Tonight, Mary’s husband Don, son Don and his family and Pam and her family, truly  honored Mary’s memory . It was so wonderful to see how much love her grandchildren and children have for her.  She was so blessed and such a blessing.  I am so grateful to have loved here and so blessed to have been loved by her.

So sorry to hear of her passing.  She and Donnie were such a great couple and fun to be with.  Carol & I visited with them several years ago during a trip to Houston and we had such a good time.  It was always a pleasure to see them come to West Virginia for our Reunions.  She will be missed.  Again, so sorry and Love to all.

I always enjoyed going to Mary Catherine Knouff's home.  Mrs. Dixon was her grandmother and Mary Catherine's  Uncle Gene Dixon was my dad's best friend. My dad would often stop for a visit.  Mary Catherine was called Babe by her friends. She met Don (one of the
Boys from Bridgeville) and it was love at first sight. They were a
great couple. I remember seeing them at the class reunion...still in

My Mary-My BFF! How unusual is it for a close friendship to 
last 50+? Our gracious all-knowing God placed us together; to walk through our lives together,  thru times of joy, celebrations, festivities,  etc. But also thru times of intense sorrow and grief. But because of God's grace and goodness,  we had one another.  A true description of our friendship can be found in Proverbs 17:17 "A true friend loveth at all times!" (The truest evidence of our friendship ) and 1 Corinthians 13:7 "Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails"! I thank God for you. My faithful Mary. How you have blessed my life!

Very sad to hear of "Babes" death. A great friend with wonderful spirit. - we grew up together on Grandview Ave on Mt Washington. Remember vividly how crazy she was about Donnie and how happy she was to finally marry him. She was so proud of all her children, grand children and great grandchildren.

When I was very young, I have a memory that stuck with me all my life. Mary Catherine was so beautiful and kind, we were on vacation at our close friends cottage in Conneaut, Ohio and Mary Catherine  was there with her close friend, Pattie Gamble , we went to the local ‘camp store’ and they had Breck shampoo and it came in Dry, Oily and Normal and Mary Catherine remarked “look D O N first letters spells Don my boyfriend “

My main memory of Mary was that she was one tough cookie and I admired that about her. She was truly an “Irish “ mom!! May she Rest In Peace.
