Mary Debra "Debi" Richardson (maiden name- Kroll) passed surrounded by her loved ones on April 8, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was 59.

Debi was born on April 14, 1958 in Angleton, Texas to her parents, Ambrose and Nelda Jean Kroll. She grew up in Houston with her loving parents and brother, Mark Kroll. Debi married Scott Richardson on October 29, 1983, Debi and Scott were a rather nomadic couple- starting in their native city of Houston, before moving to San Antonio, then further into the woods outside of San Antonio (Boerne), then migrating far north to Indianapolis, Indiana. All before finally moving back to the great state of Texas last year.

Debi fulfilled many roles in her lifetime, simply too many to all be listed here. To mention a few: she was a faithful and loving wife, an adoring daughter and sister, an always entertaining and energetic aunt, a compassionate mother to beloved pet children Liberty and the late Brutus, a loyal friend to many, a generous and dutiful volunteer for Dance Kaleidoscope and a voracious shopper. Her kindness and selflessness were unmistakable to any person lucky enough to cross her quickly paced path. She is survived by her mother, Nelda Jean Kroll; brother, Mark Kroll; Life-long love, Scott Richardson; beloved dog, Liberty; and a large number of dear extended family members. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Ambrose Kroll; beloved dog, Brutus.

Mary Debra Richardson will be laid to rest in a funeral ceremony on April 13, 2018 @ 2 p.m at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home on 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A separate memorial/viewing will take place on April 12 at 4:00 p.m., also at Earthman Resthaven. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary Debra's life.

Peter and I moved to San Antonio at the same time, although already friends, we spent more time together. She was such a supportive wife. She adored her family and leaving Houston was hard. Leaving Texas almost crushing but she moved to Indiana feeling positive because Scott was moving forward with his career.
She was so dear with my 4 children, especially my daughter. Her husband, her family and her dogs.....that was her primary focus. Finding herself in donated time but always therefor Scott.
My heart breaks for her mother, brother and other family. I’m sure she has found peace.
She will be missed.

Debbi will always be a part of my life. We worked together many years ago and she introduced me to my husband Rick. We have been married for over 31 years now. She was a fun loving friend. I have so many memories. I hate we lost contact over the years but I never forgot her and never will. I'm sad she got so ill and I didn't get to say good bye. Rest in peace my friend.

There is no other way to say it......We are heartbroken. Debi was one of the most loving, giving people I have ever known. She was always "Aunt Debi" to my girls (and so many others). We spent many New Years with them, cooking...having fun...shooting fireworks. We went on Vacations, shopping trips in many wonderful memories. Her laugh will always be with me, and every time I see animal print, I will think of her. The world is a lot less bright today without her here. We are tasked to go on without her, but I know she is making them laugh in Heaven, and sprinkling a little glitter where ever she walks.
I love you friend. I always have.
