

Mary M. (Martin) Youngblood, 88, died peacefully July 15, 2022, at a Magnolia memory care facility. She was born on November 6, 1933, in Houston at Heights Hospital, the daughter of Pete J. Martin and Theresa (Lorenz) Martin.
Mary graduated from Aldine Senior High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of the Aldine Senior High Pep Squad which was a pre-curser to the Aldine Vaqueras. After high school she married her sweetheart, Charlie D. Youngblood, and they settled in the Aldine area. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in 2007 before Charlie’s passing. She was a long time member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Tomball before she was moved into assisted living.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her children David A. Youngblood, Sharon K. Skidmore, along with her brother George F. Martin. Surviving Mary are her children Janis A. Reams and husband Ernie of Magnolia, Deborah A. Worsham of Cypress, and Charles E. Youngblood and wife Claire of Flatonia; six grandchildren, Stacy Hathhorn of Magnolia, Chris Gregory of Willis, Robert Skidmore of Cypress, Lindsay Kincy of Cypress, Brad Youngblood of The Woodlands, and Jarrod Youngblood of Edmond Oklahoma; numerous great and great great grandchildren; one brother Frank Martin and wife Anna of Spring; nephews George Martin Jr., James Martin and daughter-in-law Shirley Youngblood.
On Wednesday, July 20th, visitation will start at 4:00PM with a Rosary to follow at 7:00PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM on July 21st at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2730 Nelwood Dr, Houston, TX 77038. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
