Matthew loved watching football and rooting for his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys. He also recently enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Veronica Gutierrez-Cepeda; father Phillip J. Cepeda and wife Yolanda; mother Rhonda F. Cepeda; siblings Melanie Cepeda, Phillip J. Cepeda II and wife Victoria Velez, Adam J. Cepeda, Michael J. Cepeda, Monica Macedo, Valeria Camiro; nephews Nicholas J. Cepeda, Julian J. Cepeda, Aiden M. Cepeda and Andrew M. Cepeda.
A visitation for Matthew will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM followed by a graveside service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
