Melba Dell Kelley

Melba Dell Kelley, age 83, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. Born in Houston, Texas, she graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1950. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook, enjoyed arts and crafts, and her bridge club friends. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelton and Agnes Skains and brother, Shelton Sims Skains II. Survived by her husband of 64 years, W. Farrell Kelley; children, Melanie Kelley, Len Kelley and wife Jan, Brandt Kelley and wife Laura, and Lesli Rossler and husband John; grandchildren, Douglas Kelley and wife Kelly, Travis Kelley and Jessica Gaustad, Lauren Dawson and husband Jonathon, Ryan Kelley and wife Jen, Kaitlin Thomas and fiancé Brian Spittell, Taylor Kelley, Brooke Kelley, Makenzie Rossler, and Chance Rossler; sister, Doral Deen Keng and husband Leonard; sisters-in-law, Patsy Skains, and Melva Reeves and husband Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven.
