Mentie Edith Ramirez, 91, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born October 9, 1926 in Crowell, Texas to Elmer and Armentie Brisco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Antonio Ramirez and granddaughter, Amanda Christina Ramirez Velasquez. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her loving and devoted children, Raymond Ramirez, Paul Ramirez, Linda King and her husband Jonathan, Bonita Ramirez, Anita Garcia and her husband Benino, Dennis Ramirez and his wife Mary and Conchita Salazar and her husband Andrew; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and one sister, Edna Lou Mattox. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 5-9 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
