He was best known for his love of learning and passing that knowledge onto others. Michael was an outgoing person who loved to reach out to people in any way that he could. He took great pride in his family and in his accomplishments in both the military and civilian world.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Susan Jeanette Brand, his mother Paula Potts, his sister Gabrielle Anderson, his daughters Brittany L. Brand and Kassondra Peprah, his son John M. Brand his son in law Charlie Peprah, his grandson Adrian Peprah, and his granddaughter Kyndall Peprah.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby A. Potts.
A graveside service will be held April 8, 2022 at 1:30PM at Houston National Cemetery.
