It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of my beloved brother, Michael ( Mike) William Lininger, who left us on January 3, 2025 at the age of 67. Born on November 23, 1958 in Houston, Texas. Mike was one of two sons of Helga and Charles Lininger both deceased. Mike passed peacefully at Park Manor of Southbelt Nursing Home.
Mike was a quiet but friendly person who brought immense joy and love to all who knew him. He grew up in Christian schools and loved our Lord. He dedicated his career to new Home Construction and later in life became a concealed gun permit instructor. He trained several people about gun safety. Beyond his professional life, he had many hobbies including hunting, flying and restoring classic cars.
Mike is survived by his brother Pete Lininger and wife Gina of Houston, Texas
Visitation will be held on January 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm immediately following the visitation.
A committal service will follow on the same day from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Forest Park Lawndale.
