Michael Scott Morrison

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Scott Morrison, who departed from this world on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Born May 30, 1970 in Spring Valley, Illinois. Michael graduated from Henryetta High School in 1988 before pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Missouri. He resided in Houston, Texas where he excelled in the fields of accounting and finance, specializing in Oil and Gas operations.

Michael's radiant personality and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. His genuine compassion and infectious laughter brought joy to countless hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Green, his stepfather, Harold Green, and his father, William Dale Morrison.

He leaves behind his brother, William Donald Morrison, nephew Austin Morrison, niece Mila Morrison and numerous cousins and extended family members who will forever cherish their memories of him. Michael's passion for cooking and baking brought delight to those around him, as he poured his love into every dish he created.

Though Michael's physical presence may be gone, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May we find comfort in the cherished moments shared and the lessons learned from a life lived with purpose and passion.

Rest peacefully, dear Michael. You will be deeply missed.
