Michael David Pool was born on January 27, 1962, in Houston, Texas. He was the only child born to Dewey Jackson and Nellie Mae Pool. Early in his life he confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with First South Main Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend R.E. Edwards Jr, and later Reverend Robert E. Robbins. He attended public schools in the Sunnyside area. Michael graduated from Evan E. Worthing where he was active in the ROTC. Along Michael's journey he met Jeanette McCorvey and they had a wonderful daughter Jeanette "Janet" McCorvey Michael was employed as a truck driver with Fasco Fasteners & Supply for 25 years. Michael was a very loyal and dedicated truck drive. He enjoyed playing dominoes, barbequing for friends and family, and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived his loving daughter Janet McCorvey, three aunts; Joyce Wilson Houston, Texas, Jennie Hill Manvel, Texas Helen Hill Houston, Texas and a host of relatives and friends.
