

Mike Cutaia, born: Nov. 15, 1915 in Port Arthur, Texas; died Oct. 3, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Our beloved Father and Grandfather left us to be with his God on October 3, 2011. He was proceeded in death by Tomacita, his loving wife of 75 years; son Joseph; father and mother Martino Cutaia and Maria Perricone Cutaia; brothers Sam, Joe, Frank and Phillip and sisters Rosie, Carmella, Lena and Virginia. He is survived by sons Mike (Annette), Joe (Hope), Rudy (Virginia), John (Rosie), and Darryl Cutaia; daughters Mary Helen Calles, Margaret Bridges, Jeanette (Steve) Mullen and Mary Elizabeth Alanis; 28 grandchildren, 38 Great grandchildren, 7 Great-great grandchildren and by one sister Josephine Diefenderfer. He had been a loyal member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry since 1947. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2011, 5pm. A rosary will be recited at 7pm later that evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday at 11am at the Forest Park Lawndale Main Chapel. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Mike will be missed and long remembered by his family and many friends that have known and loved him throughout the years.
