Nancy M. Brown, age 89, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Born in Crockett, Texas, she enjoyed her flower garden and had a wonderful way with children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James R. Brown. Survived by daughter, Linda Brown Hartzog and Ron Moss; granddaughter, Crystal Kalousek and husband Matt; grandson, William “Dewey” Hartzog and wife Lanette; great grandchildren, Cody and Jenna Kalousek, and Chad and Ryan Hartzog; sister, Lavon Henderson; brother, Calvin “Red” Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
