Nellie Earline Davis, age 82, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Born in Owlet Green (Van), Texas, she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Nellie Elliott, father, Omar Melvin Elliott, and brothers, Eddie Ray Elliott and Glenn Elliott.
She was the loving mother of four sons: Bobby E. Davis, David G. Davis, Gary P. Davis, and Timothy L. Davis, all of whom will miss her dearly. Nellie was a lifelong stay at home mom who was always there when we needed her. We never doubted the love for her boys. She has 3 grandchildren Nicholas Davis and Audrey Davis of Houston and Karissa J. Rodriguez of Austin, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Viola E. Holloway (husband John B.Holloway), niece and nephew, Alicia and Gayland Holloway.
Her Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
