Nick I remember the day you picked me up from soccer practice and took me to get ice cream! You made sure I was happy with my choice it was a great day. I love you Nick maybe I’ll take Honey to get ice cream today…I’ll always be thinking of you….. I miss you so much!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our dear Nick. There are no words or actions or even resources or religious principles I can offer during this wounding time. But I can give the definition of one word that we should all remember when it comes to the beautiful soul that is Nicolas Sainz. That word is magnanimity which is the quality of being generously noble in spirit. It implies  greatness of soul that allows a person to be generous, forgiving, and kind, even when they themselves are facing adversity, misfortune or personal suffering. It’s the capacity to offer a light even when your world is dark. Our grief is imponderable but science tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed and such Nick has passed the energy and responsibility of maganamity to all of us. Though life will never be as good again when you find it just close to good as life can be ….Hear nick saying congratulations, cheering you on offering a smile as would a friend, a cousin, a brother, a son, an angel. 
I will love you and miss you forever and in my living spirit, I will do my absolute best to pass on the generosity, kindness, and gentleness that is Nick .

I spent so many days with Nick , he always had this loving warm feeling about him that drew me to him like a big brother. The random venting phone calls or us calling each other to just talk about random things. His apartment served as a friend sanctuary where we were able to be ourselves without judgement. I’m going to miss every second we shared. If there’s one thing you taught me brother it was to be a gentleman, he didn’t have a lustful eye nor did he ever disrespect  women in any way. 
I guess that’s why God allowed us to spend so much time together before you left , I’m glad I spent all that time with you. Nikko is our friend and I say that with love , he was our gentle big guy , it didn’t matter what our boy did we always understood or tried to but just know we loved our brother regardless because that’s what brothers are for. Unconditional love is hard to come by and my boy Nikko represented that well.  I’m going to make you proud big bro and carry on like how you wanted me to do.

It is with such a heavy heart that we send our deepest condolences Rick, Sandra, Stephen, Chris and Natalie.  We will always cherish the many memories we share of Nick and always remember his gentle, kind,  caring and funny spirit. 
Nick you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.  Rest easy sweetie.

My heart aches for you. Your family is very admirable and dear to me. For over 20 years I have only seen the strong bond you have with one another. The loss of Nicholas will always be felt, but the memories of the funny, happy and even sad moments will remind you that he loved and lived. And you were all an integral part of him. 
Weeks, months and years from now your grief may not always be visible to others. But, as I tell myself, we live with it daily. We just learn to function with it. Always  talk about Nick even if it causes you to burst out in tears. Those tears are proof of your love and rememberance.

You touched the lives of everyone you met.  As a family, we always had some good times spent with family, especially during the holidays. With a broken heart I remember all the fun times, all the innocent comments and jokes.  My nephew had a big heart and he loved everyone.  Nick never hung up the phone without saying I love you.   I thank God that I had the pleasure of spending some time with him last week.  He will remain in my heart for the rest of my life.  He is resting in God's arms now and will watch over us all.

Nick, you were a friend to many.  Ive known you and Stephen since elementary and it has been a blessing.  Thank you for all the good laughs, listening, shared meals and training sessions.  You gave your best and thats all Id ask.  May you rest in peace and I'll miss you good buddy.  There will be a missing spot in my heart but I will fill it with the memories we shared.

My condolences to the Sainz family. I grew up with Nick through all of Lantrip Elementary. I remember his mother always volunteering and being so involved. Nick was always good to me. I’m grateful to have shared a little piece of life with him. I will keep your family in my prayers.

You introduced me to the great game of Texas hold em poker that I love, I’ll miss playing with you and talking about hands. Every session I play will be in honor of you.
