

Nicholas was born on August 4, 1989, in Houston, to Jorge and Sandra Sainz. A proud native of the city, he grew up surrounded by family, friends, and a deep love for his community.
Known to those closest to him as Nick, he was the heart of his family—the one whose quick wit, unwavering loyalty, and infectious humor brought light into every room. Whether cheering on the Astros, traveling with his loved ones, attending his nephew’s baseball games, or simply sharing a workout and laughs with his best friend and older brother, Nick lived each moment with joy and love.
He leaves behind a family who adored him deeply: his parents, Jorge and Sandra; his older brother, Stephen; his younger brother, Christopher; his younger sister, Natalie; and his beloved nephew, Jonathon. Also left to cherish Nick’s memory are his extended family and countless friends, whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit. Their love and shared memories will continue to keep his legacy alive in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nick’s life at a visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will be held that evening from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will follow on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway, Houston, TX 77002. Committal services will take place immediately after at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
