there if you needed him. He cared about family and always wished he had one of his own. But our Lord,
had other plans for him. He grew up in Katy and that was home for him. He graduated from Taylor High
School in Katy, TX. Worked in the automotive industry, starting with Discount Tires went to NTB and
then to Christian Brothers.
He is survived by his Mother-Dianne Thomas & Stepfather Andy Thomas along with a brother-Michael
Villarreal and sister-Laura Cortez & brother in law Juan Cortez. John Villarreal-father figure throughout
his childhood/teen years. Nicolas’s girlfriend Katy Elizondo along with her four children. Grandmother
& grandfather-Janie & Leonard Hernandez along with grandmother Liz Thomas, his aunts-Adela Ramos
& Florence Thomas. He was an Uncle to Aaron Melendez, Aric Cortez and great-nephew Michael
Melendez. His cousins Anthony and Veronica Rangel along with Thomas Rangel and Rina Rodriguez. His
second cousins Yvonne, Farrah, Lila, Nadia, Iliana and Aiden Rangel. Along with many friends.
