Nina Chambers Hosea passed from this life on March 24, 2015. She was born on February 21, 1932 in Houston, Texas to Frank and Pearl Chambers. Nina leaves behind Tom and Faye Hosea along with two granddaughters Rachel and Sarah Hosea. Nina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herb Hosea and her brothers Loch Bishop Chambers, Jack Chambers and her sister Pearl Bramel. She was loved by countless nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
A loving wife and mother, she provided for the needs of her family and almost anyone else in need. She loved the outdoors - fishing, water skiing, boating, bowling and softball. She took up Wii bowling later in life maintaining an average of around 250. She cherished her dogs who served as constant companions throughout her life. Her needs were simple and her determination was strong.
She will be missed until we meet again.
Visitation services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on Thursday, March 26, 2015 between 5-8 pm. A funeral service is scheduled on Friday, March 27 at 2:00 pm in the family chapel.
