Noemi was a woman whose presence could be felt the moment she entered a room. Energetic, meticulous, strong-willed, and full of life, she had a way of bringing light, laughter, warmth, and love wherever she went. She believed in taking care of the people she loved, in keeping a home filled with family, and in making sure that anyone who walked through her door felt welcomed, fed, cared for, and at home.
Family was at the very center of Noemi’s life. She was a devoted mother of six children- Juan, Fred, Angela, David, Linda and Daniel, and the love she poured into them grew into generations.
She leaves behind an extraordinary number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons- and daughters-in-law, and extended family members. Their names are not individually listed here simply because the family she loved and helped build has grown so large. That abundance is perhaps one of the greatest reflections of her life. Her love did not go unfelt by a single generation, and there are countless people who carry memories of being cared for, welcomed, encouraged, supported, or simply loved by her.
Noemi cared for her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren with a devotion that never wavered. Even as her own health declined and her needs became greater, her instinct remained the same: to worry about everyone else, to make sure her family was taken care of, and to continue giving whatever she could. Caring for others was not simply something she did-it was part of who she was.
She taught those around her what it meant to be a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a homemaker, and a woman determined to handle life on life’s terms. Her strength was evident throughout her long and difficult battle with illness. Even through pain and adversity, the love she had for her family remained steadfast.
Noemi was the heart and glue of her family for generations, creating traditions and memories that will continue long after her passing. Her home was a gathering place, her presence was a source of comfort, and her ability to bring people together made family feel like family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her youngest son, Daniel, both of whom passed away years before her. There is great comfort in knowing that after such a long battle, she is finally at peace and reunited with them in her heavenly home.
Those who loved Noemi will miss far more than words can adequately express: her energy, her laughter, her determination, her meticulous ways, her advice, the way she listened, the way she hosted, the little things she did for everyone, and the unmistakable feeling of being loved and cared for whenever she was near.
Although her absence leaves an immeasurable space in our family, her legacy is everywhere-in her children, in the generations that followed them, in the homes and families influenced by her example, and in the countless memories held by those fortunate enough to have been loved by her.
She spent her life taking care of all of us.
Now, she can finally rest.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended, that she is at peace, and that the love she poured so freely into generations of her family will remain with us forever.
