Nora Angamarca Chavez
August 1, 1968 – February 12, 2020
Nora Angamarca Chavez, age 51, of Houston, Texas passed away into the arms of God peacefully on Wednesday February 12, 2020. Nora was born in Izabal, Puerto Barrios, Guatemala on August 1, 1968.
At 18 she moved to Houston for a better life. She was always working to support her family back at home. Looking out for her late father, Eduardo Campos. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a strong high spirited woman, always seeing the good in people. A day never went by where she didn’t make anyone smile with her charismatic personality. She was loved by her friends and coworkers. There was never a dull moment with her. She left a mark on everyone's life in a positive way and now she'll be watching over us as our new guardian angel.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Chavez, her 3 children, Jonathan Chavez age 11, Crystian Campos age 29, and John Marquis Chavez age 23. Also left to cherish her memory are her 2 beautiful grandchildren, Geoavannie Urrabas age 19 and Felicity Urrabas age 22.
A visitation for Nora will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary will be recited from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM,

Nora you will be truly missed, you were always so kind and considerate of others. You always had a smile on your face, we will never forget the image of your gentle and bright smile.
John and family, No one can prepare you for a loss; But take comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of our Lord. May God grant her eternal rest and the family strength to bear this great loss.
